This present invention generally relates to an electronic device, a display screen assembly, and a cover plate. The electronic device comprises: a display screen; a middle frame that comprises a bezel provided with a groove wherein the bezel is provided with a through hole  passing through the bottom of the groove; a camera module, wherein at least a part of the structure of the camera module is located in the bezel, and the camera module comprises a lens that is exposed by means of the through hole; and a cover plate that comprises a protruding plate and a substrate, wherein the protruding plate protrudes out from the edge of one side of the substrate , the substrate covers the display screen, the protruding plate is accommodated in the groove and covers the lens , the protruding plate comprises a top side surface and a first outer surface the top side surface and the first outer surface intersect to form a right angle, or a first transition surface is formed between the top side surface and the first outer surface by means of a chamber, and the width of the first transition surface is 0.1-0.8 mm.
