TODAY’S PATENT – WAIST BELT FOR ABSORBENT GARMENTS
The Waist belt for absorbent garments was invented by Olle Carlbark, Kenneth Strannemalm, Ewa Kölby Falk on the 14th of December 2010, bearing patent number US7850673B1.
A garment comprising an absorbent part and a waist belt which is attached directly or indirectly to the garment. The belt includes two belt-portions which extend essentially in mutually opposite directions from the absorbent part and which are intended to be fastened together around the wearer of the garment.
The objective behind this invention was to present a stiff and rigid belt which does not chaff into the wearer’s skin in addition to being easy to use.
