TODAY’S PATENT- SNAP HOOK DEVICES

The Snap hook de was vice invented by Antonio Codega on the 1st of July, 2014, bearing Patent No. US8763216B2.

The Present invention ‘Snap Hook Device’ is particularly, having screw locks for mountaineering and climbing. These Snap hooks may include a ring that has a straight side and is interrupted by an opening defined by first and second ends, in which the opening is closed by a spring closing element that has an open and closed position. The snap hook has a separation lever dividing the space enclosed by the ring in two separate areas wherein the lever is independent of the closing element and the separating lever is hinged to the same.

The object behind the invention of this device is to make a quick, reversible connection on a system of ropes or to connect a rope or cord to another component. So, it decreases the probability of accidental opening of the separation lever between the two areas.
