TODAY’S PATENT – POWDER MEDICINE APPLICATOR FOR NASAL CAVITY

The above invention is an improvement for the device to use powdery medicine in the nasal cavity. It was invented by Mr. Tatsuo Tsutsui and was granted patent on  3rd march 2015 by the USPTO bearing the grant number RE45404.

The invention delivers powdery medicine into nasal cavities more efficiently and comfortably. It is a treatment method to deliver powder into the nasal cavity of a patient suffering from asthma or any type of nasal allergy. In course of treatment, a powder method that is filled in the capsule is administered into the nasal cavity using this device. The prior art device comprises a cylindrical member having a pump on the air inlet. The other side of the device contains a valve mechanism and through which air is supplied to the capsule through the guide part fixed in the device. Further, according to the invention the nozzle is made of a flexible tube which will make it easy to insert into the nostril, and it will smoothly be inserted while confronting to the shape of the user’s nasal nostril. So, this is a perfect invention for the user who have to course through any nasal treatment.
