TODAY’S PATENT – PANTY
Henry and Holly Bergstein received their patent by the USPTO for the invention “Panty”, bearing the patent number US4067068A on 10th January 1978.
This invention relates to garments, particularly panties and the like. These materials are synthetic and non-absorbent where the fluid, which is discharged from the body passes rapidly to the outer garments or on the public region of the body. Both possibilities are of an undesirable consequence where the fluid which is retained may lead to unsanitary infections.
The primary objective of this invention is to provide a panty construction that offers the highest degree of comfort along with the possibility of greater sanitary conditions. This improvement facilitates and promotes evaporation thereby reducing any incidents of infections. Further, it has no aesthetic sacrifice.
