Customized Patient-Specific Bone Cutting Blocks

The disclosure introduces customized patient-specific femoral and tibial cutting blocks for joint arthroplasty. These blocks have bone-facing surfaces contoured to match the patient’s anatomy for precise fit and cutting. Features include recessed areas for finger placement and cutting slots to guide bone cuts. The femoral block has tabs extending to the distal femur, while the tibial block fits the proximal tibia, with both designed to improve surgical accuracy.

Additionally, a cutting guide, possibly made of metal, can be overmolded onto the blocks for enhanced functionality. These instruments aim to enhance precision and ease during orthopedic surgeries.
