Today’s Patent – Ageratum Plant Named ‘Agerboyuma’

The above-mentioned invention (USPP36798P2) has been invented by Thomas H. Boyle and patented by USPTO on October 16th, 2024. Currently, it stands assigned to THE ESTATE OF THOMAS H. BOYLE Estate Of Thomas H Boyce University of Massachusetts Amherst.

It’s a new variety of the plant ageratum. It is characterized by its relatively compact, upright and outwardly spreading and branching habit. It has relatively large leaves, dark violet colour and continuous flowering habits.

The plants have been marked for having good garden performance. It also tolerates rain, wind and temperature ranging from 2 degree Celsius to about 45 degree Celsius, effectively, without any harm.
