Today’s Patent – Adjustable Display Panel Rail Connector
The said invention (US12085223B1) was invented by Mehmet Firat Ozkan, Ozgur Gorur, and Kanat Ilter, and patented by USPTO on October 26th, 2023. Currently, it stands assigned to the Transform Partners dba Mount It!, Transform Partners LLC.
This adjustable connector system facilitates mounting a display panel to a rail, providing precise positioning and depth control for displays, such as LED or LCD panels. The connector includes a rail-coupling bracket, a display-coupling bracket, and upper and lower adjustment carriages. An upper adjustment carriage and an upper hand-turnable knob allow depth adjustments at the upper portion, while a similar lower adjustment mechanism adjusts the lower end. These adjustments are possible through hand-operated knobs that shift the display panel bracket along inclined slots, enabling a depth adjustment range up to 15.24 mm and tilt adjustments up to ±1.5 degrees, helping compensate for uneven wall surfaces.
This toolless design allows easy, precise alignment and levelling, especially beneficial for installing multiple display panels in an array. The hand-turnable knobs, made of durable plastic, eliminate the need for external tools, streamlining installation and alignment. Steel components in the rail-coupling and display-coupling brackets ensure durability. Additional features, such as angled slots for easy depth and angle adjustments, make it ideal for commercial display installations where accurate, stable mounting is essential for a polished visual setup.
