TODAY’S PATENT – PIVOT PANEL CASE CONSTRUCTION FOR AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE

The Pivot panel case construction for an electronic device was invented by Saharut Sirichai and is been patented by USPTO on 18th September 2018 bearing patent no. US10076168B2. This patent has been assigned to World Richman Manufacturing Corp.

The invention provides a case for selectively encasing and displaying electronic devices like tablets and phones. The case constructions include a device-holding mechanism or cradle and a multi-section panel assembly attached or anchored at an attachment site. The moldable device-holding cradle connects the electronic device to the multi-section panel assembly. The multi-layer multi-section panel assembly has a flexible inner layer and a rigid outer layer.

The dynamic panel retention means selectively retain dynamic panel portions in engagement with the posterior panel-opposing section of the device-holding cradle, allowing the user to position it flat or prone on the support surface. Unibody multi-section panel assemblies with integral hinges or flexure bearings, panel assemblies without peripheral panel edging, and unique posterior panel-opposing sections with matable elements on the panel assembly and cradle are also case constructions.
