TODAY’S PATENT- VENTILATED FACE SHIELD ASSEMBLY WITH GLARE SHIELD

Timothy J. Landis invented the ventilated face shield assembly with glare shield. It was patented by the USPTO on the 1^st June, 2010, bearing patent number US7725949B2.

This invention relates to a low-cost disposable head mounted face shield with an integrated glare shield. It is light weight and well ventilated. It comes with a ventilated headband that holds the face shield assembly on face of the wearer. The face shield and the glare shield are made up of sheet material.

This invention is aimed at protecting the eyes and face of the user from debris, pathogens, and other harmful agents. It is beneficial for use at various industries like dentistry, medical, laboratory and veterinary. Moreover, the glare control not only guards the user against eye and facial fatigue from squinting but also helps increase the productivity of the wearer and reduce the errors while working for extended periods of time.
