TODAY’S PATENT – VEHICLE FRONT BODY STRUCTURE
The present is a front body structure of a vehicle. This invention was invented by Ohnaka Ryo (Saitama, JP), Taguchi; Yoshinori (Saitama, JP), Hisazumi, and Makoto (Saitama, JP). The present invention is patented in USPTO on 12th march 2019 with the patent number RE47286.
This invention is a front vehicle body structure. It consists of a front side frame, a lower member placed at an outer side, and a gusset placed between the side frame and the lower member. The front side frame also includes a bending point that absorbs a shock or an impact.
This type of front body is made so that the vehicle can absorb the impact load to a front side frame and the impact can be propagated. The viewpoint of the present invention is to provide a front structure to a vehicle body that can take an accident or can absorb the shock at the time of the accident. This is the reason why the front door structure is made like this. In addition, a gusset is placed between the front side frame and the lower member and as a result, it can provide an improvement on flexibility in the layout of vehicle parts.
