TODAY’S PATENT- TRIPOD

The Tripod was invented by Koichiro Nakatani on the 23rd of November 2004, bearing patent number US6820845B2.

The present invention relates to a tripod in which the opening degree of legs can be adjusted by an operation of the operating body. A tripod comprises: a main tripod body; a camera supporting rod capable of rising and falling; rotatable legs; and operating bodies shiftable in the horizontal direction for adjusting the opening degree of the legs. The prior art required to form a protrusion for securing a shifting space of the operating bodies which is not the case in the present invention.

The main object of the present invention is to provide a tripod in which downsizing can be easily realized.
