TODAY’S PATENT – SWIVEL CHAIR PROVIDED WITH LENGTH-ADJUSTABLE LEG TUBES

US20200329873A1.  The invention aims to address the limitations of existing swivel chairs by introducing a versatile swivel chair with length-adjustable leg tubes. This innovative chair is designed to cater to both outdoor recreational fishing and indoor relaxation needs.

The key technical features of this invention include a chair frame assembly, a seat leg connection assembly, and a leg tube assembly. The chair frame assembly consists of essential components such as a chair cloth, turning bases, turning base reinforcing pieces, a back tube, a seat frame, and an upper connection plate. The back tube, which is perpendicular to the seat frame, can be rotated forwards by 90 degrees through the turning bases, allowing it to hinge to the seat frame.

This design enables the chair to be folded for easy storage. Additionally, the leg tube assembly includes various components like upper leg tube fixing base, stretchable leg tubes, lock mechanisms, and more. These leg tubes can be adjusted to suit different heights and terrains.

One of the notable features is the lock mechanism, which consists of a lock case, lever, limiting iron ring, compression ring, and protective shell. It allows the adjustment of the lower leg tubes’ height. When the levers are rotated downwards, they press the handles of the limiting iron rings to unlock, enabling the lower leg tubes to stretch or retract. The seat leg connection assembly offers flexibility, with both rocking and non-rocking options available. This ensures the chair can cater to different user preferences.
