Today’s Patent – Solid Target System For Radionuclide Preparation

The said invention (US12128994B1) was invented by Xuebing PENG, Xu Han, Yonghua Chen, Peng Liu, Xin MAO, Jianghua Wei, and Kaizhong DING, and patented by USPTO on April 23rd, 2024. Currently, it stands assigned to the Hefei Institutes of Physical Science of CAS.

Today's Patent - Solid Target System

The disclosed invention is a solid target system designed for radionuclide preparation. It comprises a cassette containing a solid target component and a shielding box, along with an ejection sub-system, a laser radar positioning sub-system, a cooling sub-system, and a control cabinet. After the nuclide preparation process is completed, the ejection sub-system transfers the cassette to a recovery hole. Positioned above the ejection sub-system, the laser radar positioning sub-system is connected to the control cabinet for precise alignment. The control cabinet is also linked to a DC servo motor, which manages the operational state of the entire system.
