TODAY’S PATENT – SMART LUGGAGE SYSTEM WITH CAMERA INSTALLED IN PULL ROAD

The Smart luggage system with a camera installed in the pull road was invented by Ou Qi and Xudong Guo. This invention was granted patent by USPTO on 17^th August 2021 bearing patent no. US11089855B2. This invention has been assigned to Lingdong Technology (Beijing) Co. Ltd.

Self-driving luggage designs use cameras to detect obstacles, but their capabilities are limited and need improvement. A piece of luggage designed to hold items for transport and a handle that is coupled to the piece of luggage constitute the components of a smart luggage system.

A pull rod that is attached to a connecting rod is a component of the handle. A portion of the pull rod’s top surface has been designed to house one or more cameras that are capable of photographing and/or recording video. The handle and/or the luggage are equipped with one or more cameras that are capable of photographing and/or filming whatever they are pointed at.
