TODAY’S PATENT – SKIN STAPLE EXTRACTOR
This invention “Toothbrush” was invented by Melvyn D. Morris and assigned to ADDYGABLE Ltd, was granted patent on 8th May, 1979 by the USPTO bearing patent grant number US4152804A to the patentee. This innovation relates to toothbrushes, and in particular, to single-use toothbrushes that are meant to be thrown away. In order to safeguard the impregnated bristles, there is a requirement to supply a package that contains a toothbrush with toothpaste-impregnated bristles and an easily removable, sealed cover.
A brushing member includes a brushing head with flexible bristles, a shaft carrying the brushing head at one end, an attachment means attached to the other end of the shaft remote from the brushing head, and a plurality of ribs provided on the shaft next to the brushing head for strengthening the shaft and making the shaft relatively rigid in relation to the flexible bristles. The second element consists of a hollow handle means in which the brushing member is housed before use.
