The Pool Cover was invented by Ruth A. Brown on 11th of April, 2000, bearing patent number US6047415A.

The Pool Cover invention is mainly for the protection of swimming pool water from algae growth in water, especially at the time of the offseason. This invention covers the whole pool when the pool is not being used. Thus, it can protect the water from unnecessary dirt, insects, and people around the pool walk freely without any worry with their children, etc. The pool cover is used when there is no need for swimming, in that water can be stored and whenever people would like to swim pool is already ready with clean and cool water. This invention contains opaque material for blocking the passage of sunlight by the material. So, when the pool cover is installed on a surface of pool water there is no chance of the development of algae. The pool cover is created with the thin various layer of opaque material from both sides including buoyant material for safeguarding the chemical used in the pool, crammed between them. It contains interlinked panel plurality at the time of fitting; it adjusts as per the size of the pool. That is known as a custom-designed pool. The Pool cover is such a reasonable cost along with having certain features like it can be gathered, placed, detached and stored.
