TODAY’S PATENT – PHASE NOISE SUPPRESSION
Phase noise suppression (US9634701B2) was invented by Stephane Laurent-Michel and Curtis Ling and patented by USPTO on April 25th, 2017. Currently, it stands assigned to MaxLinear Inc.
Traditional methods for microwave backhaul networks are often ineffective and exhibit subpar performance. Additional drawbacks and shortcomings of these conventional methods will become evident to those skilled in the field upon comparing them with certain aspects of the present invention outlined in the rest of this application and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
This inventive system includes a modulator circuit, a test signal generator, and a control circuit. It adjusts the frequency and spacing of the test signal based on the current status of the microwave backhaul link, ensuring optimal performance.
The claimed invention will result in improved performance and efficiency of microwave backhaul networks by dynamically adjusting the test signal frequency and spacing based on the current status of the link.
