TODAY’S PATENT – METHOD AND SENSING OF REMOTE MONITORING OF IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
The above invention is related to a system or a method to control machines like printers, copiers, etc. It was invented by Motoo Watanabe & Gregory Wright. The patent was granted on 6th march 2012 with the patent grant number USRE43227E1 by the USPTO.
The present system is used for controlling other machines such as printers, facsimile machines, and other image-forming machines. A server is used for communicating information among different machines and computers. The server is created once after the machine is installed. Wherein via this machine, data is transmitted from an image system to a remote monitor system.
The data of the machine can be of any type for example paper usage, paper jams, energy usage, functionality, and usage of frequency. The evaluation of this machine includes a comparison between current machine condition data to determine the possible source. The remote monitoring system responds to the operating issue by adjusting a little bit from the image machine by sending a notification to the help desk and a dispatcher. The image machine can be of any type such as printers, copiers, facsimiles machines, and digital cameras.
