TODAY’S PATENT – LIGHTER AND CIGAR SPLITTER

The present invention is a cigar splitter with a lighter that also holds a cigar. This Invention was invented by Lee; Young Jin (Fullerton, CA), Lee; Young Min. The current invention is patented via USPTO on 9^th march 2021 with the patent number RE48459.

The invention relates to a combination of cigar splitter and lighter. A person who smokes on daily basis finds it advantageous and enjoyable to substitute the filling in a pre made cigar. The present invention simplifies the whole procedure of filling tobacco into a cigar and using it. It also holds a lighter into the cigar splitter.

A cigar splitter comprises of 2 open ends and a long axis.  The open end helps to hold the cigar in place and can be sliced out from that easily. There is also a blade which is on the splitter which helps in cutting an outer sheath of the cigar as the cigar is inserted through one end. In cigars, the splitter can also be used in another way by attaching a loop on the outside surface to make it as a keychain..
