TODAY’S PATENT – LAPTOP SLEEVE
The laptop sleeve was invented by Aaron Lown and John Roscoe Swartz, was patented by USPTO on 23rd June, 2009 bearing patent No. USD594659S1.
The current invention was assigned to Lifetime Brands Inc. The laptop sleeve has a generic design and has been granted a design patent considering the ornamental design of it. The laptop sleeve is a close fit around the laptop to hold the device in place and with covered top to maximize protection. It protects the device from dents, scratches, when the device is kept inside the bag. It is usually made with materials which protect the laptop from dust, spills and rain.
