Today’s Patent – Inflatable Bed
The said invention (US11969099B1) was invented by Juying Shi, and patented by USPTO on October 24th, 2023. Currently, it stands assigned to the Dongguan Hongyu Plastic Co Ltd.
The inflatable bed design integrates a supportive bed body and a comfortable mattress body to enhance both stability and comfort. The bed body consists of an outer support part, made of a top sheet, bottom sheet, and surrounding frame, and an inner support portion that reinforces the bed structure by dividing it into a middle and a periphery cavity. This configuration prevents the bed from shaking and enhances overall stability. The mattress body on top of the bed includes multiple layers—a comfort layer, sponge layer, and two fixing layers—ensuring a soft surface for users. An additional surrounding frame encases the sponge layer and secures the mattress components, further stabilizing the bed when in use.
The design also incorporates various features to improve ease of use and safety. Multiple support straps inside the bed body add structural integrity, while the concave connection between the top sheet and drawing straps increases friction, preventing the mattress from shifting. Safety is enhanced by the mattress’s upper projection edge, which is slightly raised to protect users. Options for connecting the mattress to the bed include snap fasteners, hooks and loops, or zippers, allowing for quick assembly and removal while maintaining alignment. These features make the bed versatile, suitable for indoor or outdoor use, compact for portability, and comfortable for extended use.
