Today’s Patent – Inductive Position Sensor and Electromagnetic Clutch
The above-mentioned invention (US12287013B1) has been invented by Yang CaoPing YuJianwen LiPengyuan Zhou and patented by USPTO on October 12th, 2023. Currently, it stands assigned to Jing Jin Electric Technologies Beijing Co Ltd.

The above-mentioned invention is an inductive position sensor. It consists of a movable part which is a magnetic conductor and an induction coil assembly adjacent to the movable part. The disclosure is related to sensor technology. This particular disclosure is to be used in new energy vehicles. New energy vehicles refer to vehicles that use unconventional fuel as a power source, integrate advanced technology in power control and driving, and have advanced technical principles and new structures.
The earlier conventional position sensors had the problem of large volume, high environmental requirements, the need for specific connectors, and the need to reserve layout space which is solved by the above inductive sensor and electromagnetic clutch.
