TODAY’S PATENT – HAND DUSTER
Veit J. B. Bastian received his patent for the invention “Hand duster” (US4145787A) from the USPTO on 27th March 1979.
This present invention relates to hand dusters which are used for dusting small decorative articles, furniture, etc. These dusters are known to be increasingly expensive to produce and as a result, various attempts have been made in the past to produce these devices using traditional feathers. However, the prior art inventions have failed to yield an economically long-lasting hand duster, which is useful and has gained commercial acceptance.
The primary objective of the present invention is to overcome the above-mentioned shortcomings by providing a durable, effective and attractive hand duster which is easily manufactured and does not shed its hair or fibre when at use.
