TODAY’S PATENT – HAIRPIECE ANCHOR

Jack Bauman received his patent for the invention, “Hairpiece anchor” (US3942195A) by the USPTO on 9th March 1976.   
The present invention relates to new and useful improvements in devices for removably securing a hairpiece to the scalp. It provides a removable scalp anchor which is reliable and hygienic. It also secures the hairpiece to the wearer’s scalp and makes sure that the wearer is comfortable with the device.

The primary objective of this invention is to ensure that the wearer does not undergo any discomfort with the anchor and is capable of resisting substantial force. Further, the invention can be readily installed and removed which can secure and separate the hairpiece from the scalp.
