TODAY’S PATENT – GRILL BRUSH
This was invented by Marc Zemel (Hauppauge, NY), Joanne Rudis (Hauppauge, NY). It was patented by the USPTO on March 28, 2023 bearing patent number USD981726S1. The current invention is related to grill brushes, specifically to a novel grill brush designed to clean a grill’s grates and apply a cleaning agent. The current idea concerns grill brushes for cleaning grill grates, such as those found in charcoal and gas-fired barbecues.
This invention relates to a grill brush that has a handle end and a brush end on the brush handle, a brush head with a fluid reservoir, a brush handle conduit, and a valve located therein; a reservoir cap that can be removed and attached to the brush handle’s handle end; a brush head; a bristle holding member; a brush bristle surface located on the bristle holding member; the valve and the reservoir are in fluid communication with each other.
There are several groups of bristles originating from the brush bristle surface; there are several orifices on the brush bristle surface that are in communication with the brush head conduit; a scraper is included here. The brush head conduit is housed in the brush head and is in fluid communication with the brush handle conduit.
The ideal grill brush is the one that can clean the interior and outside of a grill, remove deposits from hard-to-reach places, and remove deposits and grease from the sides of the grill grate bars as well as the top surface of the grate.
