TODAY’S PATENT – ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE
Electronic Cigarette (US9320300B2) was invented by Lik Hon and patented by USPTO on April 26th, 2016. Currently, it stands assigned to Fontem Ventures BV.
Current atomizing electronic cigarettes still suffer from numerous issues and deficiencies, such as inadequate atomization, production of large liquid droplets in the final vapor, inconsistent vapor due to varying droplet sizes, excessive moisture content, unsatisfactory mouthfeel, and, at times, uncomfortably high temperatures due to inadequate cooling.
The claimed invention, in order to address these issues, offers improved atomizing e-cigarettes by incorporating a liquid-permeating component directly around the electric heater in the atomizer.
This allows for better atomization of the cigarette liquid into smaller, uniform droplets. Additionally, airflow-driven holes and channels enable larger droplets to adhere to the reservoir, enhancing the vaping experience to resemble traditional smoking.
