TODAY’S PATENT -ELECTRIC FLUSH TANK

In today’s patent, we will discuss Li-Ho Yao (Taichung)’s invention, “Electric Flush Tank” (US4380835A), which was patented by the USPTO on April 26, 1983.

This following invention is made in such a way that it is able to replace the conventional mechanical flush tank. In order to replace the traditional tank the following invention is completely electrically operated. There are micro switch installed in between the tank in order to store excess water and thereby reducing water leakage. As conventional flush tank is liable to have greater repair cost the above said invention will help in reducing the costs and would work in a efficient way. A button switch is attached to the outer side wall of the tank which controls a solenoid that drives a connecting rod which in turn controls the water outlet. The inventor has given some major changes and improvements to Electric flush tank which is very different from the traditional one.
