TODAY’S PATENT – DOG OR ANIMAL TOILET
The DOG OR ANIMAL TOILET was invented by Kenneth Jewett Brown (Yonkers, NY) on the 22nd of June 1976 bearing patent number US3964437A.
This invention aids a way to collect dog or animal excreta and wash it down into sewer system by the way of sanitary. A receptacle is provided in this invention so that the dogs or animals can relieve themselves. The dog toilet has an empty receptacle with a funnel-like shape slating down towards a drain at the bottom for connection to the sewerage disposal system. selectively operable flushing system with pipe means delivering water to the receptacle in a centripetal direction, with whirlpool action to wash down excrement and to clean and scour its surface; a control means to activate the flushing system; a protective barrier for the receptacle; an upright member located over the drain hole for the animals to urinate on and said urine will drain by gravity into the sewerage disposal system and because of the upright member’s location over the drain it will prevent the animal from stepping into the drain. And the foot pedal can be pressed down by the owner which thereby results in the release of flush water that washes the excrement down to the sewer disposal system. The objective behind this invention is to provide an improvised version of a dog toilet that solves the problem of dog feces in public and urban areas. This toilet works as a weatherproof, vandal-proof, safe, and inexpensive one.
