TODAY’S PATENT – COMBINED WORKOUT GLOVE AND WRIST WRAP
The invention COMBINED WORKOUT GLOVE AND WRIST WRAP was invented by Allen R. Walunga (Stillwater, MN) on the 6th of March 1990, bearing the patent number US4905321A.
This invention aims to combine work-out gloves and work-out wrist wraps to form one glove to perform both functions which are used during weightlifting and powerlifting.
By attaching a wrist wrap to a workout glove this invention intends to protect the wrist tendons while serving as a weightlifter’s glove by proving exposed finger sleeves for dexterity and better grip as well as protection of the palm from blisters. The wrist wrap is of longer length and can provide wrist protection when in heavy stress. The wrist wrap can be independently put on by the wearer without the need of external assistance which would be quite convenient. As the wrist wrap is attached by buttons it can also be removed when not required resulting a very versatile equipment.
