TODAY’S PATENT – BED – MAKING DEVICE

Bed making process might be a tedious task and we are often lethargic to do it after a long day. In today’s patent, we will discuss about the Alvin D. Staggs’ invention, the “Bed – making device” (US3946450A), which was patented by the USPTO on 30th March 1976.

The present invention relates to bed-making devices which automatically prepares the bed for use by removing the bedspread from the top surface of a mattress and placing a bottom and a top sheet on the top surface of the mattress. It can also automatically remove and replace the same bedspread on the top surface of the mattress when the bed is not in use.

The principal objective of the present invention is to provide an effectively working and operative bed-making device. This invention is a durable one which is well adapted for the proposed use.
