TODAY’S PATENT- BED LIFTING APPARATUS
John Koorey invented the bed lifting apparatus shown in the above figures. He got it patented by the USPTO on the 3rd June, 2014, bearing patent number US8739329B2.
The bed lifting apparatus consists of a base and a support arm connected by at least one linkage arm. It also contains a biasing arrangement which maintains a space between the base arm and the support arm so that when a bed is held high from the floor when located on the support arm.
The invention aims at increasing the ease of cleaning the debris and dust accumulated beneath beds. It eradicates the risk of injury sustained by bending at uncomfortable positions to access the areas underneath the bed while cleaning it manually. This invention is of great use at homes, hotels as well as hospitals.
