Today's Patent - Archery Bow With Limb Spacing Adjustment

The disclosed invention archery bow, includes a limb assembly with a first limb and a second limb, where the second limb features limb threads. An axle assembly, supported by both the first and second limbs, includes an axle that is threaded with axle threads. The connection between the axle assembly and the first limb is a fixed connection. In contrast, the connection between the axle assembly and the second limb involves the engagement of the limb threads with the axle threads.

By rotating the axle relative to the limb assembly, the distance between the first and second limbs can be adjusted. In some embodiments, the fixed connection between the first limb and the axle does not involve any helical threads. Additionally, in some embodiments, rotating the axle relative to the limb assembly causes the second limb to move along the length of the axle, while the first limb remains stationary along the axle’s length.
