PATENT OF THE WEEK – AIR FRYER
This Air Fryer was invented by Jing Jiang (Beijing), Ningning Li (Beijing), Yao Xi (Beijing), and Yichi Zhang (Beijing). It was patented by the USPTO on March 7, 2023 bearing patent number USD980004S1.
The present invention relates to manufacturing of an air fryer for preparing food utilising both electrical heating radiation and heated air. The goal of this invention is to make up for the shortcomings of the existing air fryer. To this aim, the current innovation offers an air fryer with an air guide that is easy to assemble and maintain and that makes cleaning the fryer bottom easier.
The goal of the current invention is to manufacture air fryers, which are made up of an electrical heating tube above the frying basket, a fan above the tube, a fryer body, and a frying basket enclosed within the liner. The frying basket has a grid on the bottom and a thin plate on the side. There is an air channel that runs between the frying basket and the liner. The frying basket has an externally located spiral guiding cylinder at the bottom that is attached to the side wall.
On the bottom of the swirl guide cylinder, air inlets are opened to create a rotational air flow. The air inlets create a swirl by rerouting the air flow in the same direction. With this arrangement, the frying basket has a simpler structure, the liner is simpler to make and maintain, and the frying basket is more securely supported.
