TODAY’S PATENT – AIR CONDITIONER
Air conditioner for centralized air conditioning was invented by Mr. Satashi Nanjo which is patented by USPTO on 6th June, 2000 bearing patent No. USD426292S which is been assigned to Fujitsu General Ltd. The current invention is generic in nature but has been granted a design patent considering the ornamental design of the air conditioner.
The air conditioner is square with precise tips which is mounted to the ceilings. The invention has evolved from prior air conditioners which were broad, consumed large space. This invention is sleek, with openable air cooling strips and adds stylish look to it. This design helps in circulating cool air throughout the space. Many high-rise office buildings, airports, shopping centres, schools, hotels, industrial warehouses, and many other large structures usually use this air conditioner, as fixing individual air conditioner units in each room may not be the most cost-effective option.
