TODAY’S PATENT – ADJUSTABLE WASH-BASIN

The “adjustable wash-basin” was invented by Boris G. R. Bodin. The USPTO granted patent for the same (4328597) on 11th May 1982.

General wash-basins suit normal-heighted people but what about those on wheel-chairs?

The invention relates to a wash-basin and more particularly to one which is adjustable in terms of its height. The device was invented keeping in mind the disabled and especially those who are wheel-chair-ridden and may not have a helping hand around. The height-adjustment mechanism aids those on wheel-chairs to easily access the wash-basin by bringing the basin down to their height. It is also made with less complicating mechanisms and is extremely affordable to install.
