TODAY’S PATENT – DIAPER STRUCTURE CAPABLE OF WIRELESSLY DETECTING A SOAKING WET CONDITION THEREOF AND DIAPER DETECTION SYSTEM OF THE SAME
The said invention (US20150080819A1) was invented by Sharon Lee Charna and Lee-Tsan LU on 14th September 2013. .Currently; it stands assigned to SingLi Tech Inc

The present invention is a diaper equipped with wireless wetness detection technology, designed to maintain traditional diaper structures. As the population ages, there’s a growing need for products that assist the elderly, especially those with urinary incontinence. This innovative diaper notifies staff immediately when wet, enhancing hygiene and comfort for residents.
The invention features a diaper with a main body consisting of an inner fabric layer, a middle anti-leak layer, and an outer absorbent layer. An RFID tag, made up of a communication chip and a metal antenna, is affixed to the anti-leak layer. When the absorbent layer gets wet, it changes the relative permittivity of the anti-leak layer, affecting the antenna’s impedance and altering the RFID signal wavelength, enabling quick detection of wetness.
