TODAY’S PATENT – SLEEPING BAGS

There are various types of sleeping bags available as single or double bags to be used by either only one person or two people. In today’s patent, we will discuss Pelepa Zahavkochav’s invention, “Sleeping bags” (US4183111A), which was patented by the USPTO on 15th January 1980.

This invention relates to sleeping bags. In the past, there were problems faced by sleeping bag construction used for one or two people, where the two hooded single sleeping bag could not be satisfactorily joined together to make a double-sized sleeping bag.

The primary objective of this invention to provide a sleeping bag that will obviate the foregoing problems. This is basically achieved by providing a pair of pockets on a single sleeping bag on the outside.
