The said invention (USPP35898P2) was invented by Gavin R. SillsBrando Alvarez Rodriguez Mark F. Crusha and patented by USPTO on October 5th, 2023. Currently, it stands assigned to Driscolls Inc.

The above-mentioned plant is a new variety of blackberry plant which has been disclosed for its good plant health, firmness, size and flavour of fruit. The varietal denomination of the claimed variety of blackberry plant is ‘DrisBlackThirtyTwo’. Blackberries are recognised for their high contents of antioxidants, dietary fibre, vitamin C, and vitamin K. Blackberry fruit are typically consumed as fresh fruit, individually quick-frozen fruit, or in prepared foods, such as purées, juices, jellies, jams, grocery items, baked goods, and snack foods.

As blackberry is an important and valuable commercial fruit crop, there is a need for new varieties of blackberry plant. Additionally, there is a need for stable, high yielding, and agronomically sound variety of blackberry. The above disclosed blackberry is one of such commercially viable variety of blackberry, thereby holding a special commercial value.
