Today’s Patent – System, Method, and Apparatus for Providing Optimized Network Resources
The said invention (US12238526B2) was invented by Armando Montalvo and patented by USPTO on July 22nd, 2024. Currently, it stands assigned to the Digital Global Systems Inc.

This invention relates to a system and method for optimizing wireless network resources through spectrum utilization management using a Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) layer within a network slice.
A wireless network resource optimization application within the MEC layer analyses the electromagnetic environment by creating a vector ensemble class for detected radio signals and evaluating their potential interactions based on characteristics such as frequency and bandwidth. These interactions are then combined with a customer goals index vector—composed of binary values representing user-defined objectives—to generate actionable data for optimizing network resource allocation in real time.
The system supports dynamic network slicing, multi-tenant environments, and physical layer optimization based on environmental conditions. It can also incorporate constraint vectors and leverage a virtualized management and orchestration (MANO) interface to coordinate resources and services. Positioned at the edge of the radio access network (RAN), the MEC host ensures low-latency processing and real-time adaptability, aligning signal behavior with business or service objectives for efficient and goal-driven network performance.
