The said invention (US11761441B1) was invented by Akhil Alex, Chance Ray Mullins, Kyle Matthew Ellisor, Seth Sprowls, and patented by USPTO on April 25th, 2022. Currently, it stands assigned to Vulcan Industrial Holdings LLC.

Today’s Patent - Spring Controlling Valve

The disclosed invention is a valve member designed for a spring-loaded valve assembly. It features a top portion with a spring retaining recess that extends inward to create a void space, which is sized to accommodate at least one coil of a spring. The recess has a diameter smaller than the overall diameter of the top portion but larger than the spring base’s resting diameter, effectively restricting the expansion of the coil when the spring is compressed. Additionally, the valve member includes a bottom portion connected to the top, a sealing element positioned axially below a shoulder on the top portion, and legs extending from the bottom portion.
