Today’s Patent – Connecting Box For Road Lamp

The said invention (US12117149B1) was invented by Yingshan Ma and patented by USPTO on April 3^rd, 2024. Currently, it stands assigned to the Shenzhen Hitoplux Optoelectronic Co Ltd.

The disclosed A connecting box for a road lamp includes a first half housing designed for mounting and connection to the lamp body, and a second half housing for mounting and connection to the lamp post.  One side of the first half housing is equipped with shaft holes, while the corresponding side of the second half housing features rotating shafts. These rotating shafts are inserted into the shaft holes, allowing for rotational movement. Two shaft holes are spaced vertically from top to bottom on the first half housing, and correspondingly, two rotating shafts are arranged on the second half housing. On the opposite side, the first half housing includes a fixing hole, while the second half housing has a first screw aligned with the fixing hole. The first screw engages with the fixing hole to fasten the two housings together securely.

It aims to address the shortcomings of the prior art by providing a connecting box for a road lamp that effectively overcomes the difficulty of single-person installation, thereby enhancing the convenience and efficiency of the mounting process.
