Today’s Patent – Method for Preparing Unbreakable Micro-Electrostatic Filter

The said invention (US12023616B1) was invented by Shidan LONG, Shanqing MENG, and Qin Li, and patented by USPTO on October 14th, 2022. Currently, it stands assigned to the Airquality Technology (Shanghai) Co Ltd.

Method for Preparing Unbreakable Micro-Electrostatic Filter

The method for preparing an unbreakable micro-electrostatic filter involves using secondary granulated raw materials to create an electrode material isolating and carrying frame, arranging a strip-shaped conductive material on the frame, stacking the basic filtering plates, and hot-melt cutting the filter mold base to form the micro-electrostatic filter. The method aims to solve the problems of current leakage and damage in micro-electrostatic filters, particularly in high-humidity environments.

To achieve this, it uses specific materials and processes, such as drying granular insulating dielectric raw materials, adding flame retardant and color master batch, extrusion molding, cutting, arranging conductive material, stacking basic filtering plates, hot-melt cutting, and cutting electrode strip accommodating grooves. The method ensures the stability and efficiency of the micro-electrostatic filter in high-humidity environments by preventing current leakage, arcing, and sparking.
