TODAY’S PATENT – ELECTRIC VEHICLE
Electric Vehicle (US10988200B2) was invented by Jiawei Ying and Shaojun Caoand patented by USPTO on April 27th, 2021. Currently, it stands assigned to Hangzhou Chic Intelligent Technology Co Ltd.
An electric self-balancing vehicle uses internal gyroscopes and acceleration sensors to maintain balance, adjusting the motor through a servo control system based on the principle of “dynamic stabilization.”
Most existing electric self-balancing vehicles include a handlebar for manual control. Users stand on a flat foot platform and manipulate the handlebar to move forward, backward, or stop. However, since the foot platform remains fixed horizontally, users cannot control the vehicle solely with their feet.
The present invention introduces an electric self-balancing vehicle with a unique design comprising top, bottom, and inner covers, along with a rotating mechanism, wheels, hub motors, sensors, a power supply, and a controller. Notably, the vehicle’s symmetrical and rotatable covers offer enhanced maneuverability and stability. The controller effectively manages the hub motors based on sensor feedback, ensuring precise control and smooth operation of the vehicle.
