TODAY’S PATENT- DEVICE FOR THE TREATMENT OF THE EYES WITH A WASHING OR BATHING LIQUID

The eye treatment device comprises a covered container with two vertical whirlpool tubes positioned to accommodate each of the two eyes as washing devices. An internal cross section of the container has a whirlpool device that creates bubbles similar to those in a whirlpool bath. The intake and whirlpool tubes are carried by the cover. The jar contains just the washing liquid.

This device was invented by Ludwig G. Baumann (CH-9527 Niederhelfenschwil). It was patented by the USPTO on January 15, 1985, bearing patent number US4493119A.

Numerous eye ailments have been medically proven to be caused by inadequate circulation and oxygen deficiency to the eyes. Similar to how oxygen-rich air is supplied to the body when in a whirlpool bath, mild whirlpool therapy of the eyes using air whirlpool massage bathtubs can also result in an increase in the supply of oxygen-rich air during the eye bath in addition to a light massaging effect.

The goal of the invention is to provide an eye hygiene tool that uses an effervescent bathing fluid to gently micromassage the eyes. It is also intended to be easily transported on trips, manufactured in an inexpensive and straightforward manner, cleaned easily, and easily customized to meet different needs.
