TODAY’S PATENT – AUTOMATIC HAIR WASHING DEVICE
The ivention invented jointly by Hisao SENBO, Yuichiro Chujo and Keizo Yamamoto is about various techniques for automatic hair washing devices. It is currently assigned to Serix Co Ltd, the Patent no. US10791813B2 was published on 06-10-2020. There is also a bag-shaped member with a protrusion on its surface, but it lacks the ability to apply appropriate force when contacting the scalp. The patent proposes using sensors to measure contact pressure and adjust the force applied to the protrusion, but this approach becomes complex and requires multiple sensors and mechanisms to accommodate different head shapes.
The patent is also limited in achieving a comfortable sensation similar to human hair washing since their spherical protrusions only press the hair against the scalp without the stroking effect of human fingers. The device employs a spring to mimic human hand movements to some extent, but it doesn’t address the appropriate adjustment of the contact state with the scalp.
Considering these limitations, the present invention aims to develop an automatic hair washing device that emulates the hair washing experience by human hands. The goal is to achieve a more natural and comfortable hair washing operation while considering the diverse shapes of human heads.
