TODAY’S PATENT – HAND DRIP COFFEE MAKER

The Hand drip coffee maker was invented by Sang Ryong Lee, and Oh Hyun Kang. This was granted a patent by USPTO on 22nd August 2017 bearing patent no. US9737168B2.  The invention was assigned to the Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of KNU.

The invention relates to a hand-drip coffee maker that injects water and syrup in a desired shape. It has a support unit on which a storage container sits, a ground coffee hopper that is attached to the support unit through a hopper holder and holds ground coffee, a mounting post that is attached to the support unit, an arm unit with a link arm that is rotatably attached to an upper side of the mounting post so that the end of the link arm faces the ground coffee hopper and an arm unit with a link arm that is rotatably.
