PATENT OF THE WEEK – EYEGLASS CASE

The eyeglass case was invented by Bruce Raile, was patented by USPTO on 24th June, 2008 bearing patent No. USD571556S1. The invention was assigned to Sun Optics Inc. The design of the eyeglass case is generic and has been granted a design patent considering the ornamental design of it.

The eyeglass case is thin, occupies minimal space, oval in shape to perfectly fit the eyeglasses. It has a cap to open and it is in the height of an eyeglass. The case is portable, can be in pockets and it protects both the lenses from scratching, as well as the frame from any damage.
