TODAY’S PATENT – MEMORIES
The present invention is a new type of cultivar name Memories. This invention was invented by Randag; Cecilius Jan-Jochem (‘t Zand, NL). The invention was filed on December 22, 2014. Further, the patent number of this invention is USPP27823P3.
The invention relates to a new type of cultivar and it is a variety of Calla Lilly having a flower with black dark purple colored. It is a product planned breeding that has the objective of creating Zantedeschia hybrids for pot flower production of a wide range of colors. The breeding program began in 1989. Asexual reproduction of memories by tissue culture was performed by the inventor in September 2007 in ‘t Zand, the Netherlands.
The present invention has not been evaluated under all weather conditions. The result may vary with the variation in the environment. Color references are made to the 2001 RHS color references. The size of the plant from the soil is 10-45 cm. height of the flower from the soil is 12-40 cm. the new cultivar is different from the parent plant.
