TODAY’S PATENT – MOTOR VEHICLE NAVIGATION SYSTEM HAVING A PROTECTED STORAGE MEDIUM

The current invention was invented by Martin Thoone &Theo Drijfhout which was assigned to Mannesmann VDO AG on 10^th July 2001. This invention was granted utility patent on 27^th February 2007 bearing the patent grant number. US7185369B2 by the USPTO.

It is relating to a computerized navigation or multimedia system for a motor vehicle. The system includes a central processor connected to associated memory elements, as well as input, output, and a reader for a bulk storage medium.
